Freelancers are allowed to us gunboats, per id restrictions, but I am trying to decide which one to get. It just seems like the only one available is the Zoner Gunboat, but with its lack of turrets and my accident proneness when it comes to mines it seems like an unwanted fit for me.
So, which gunboat could I get and it sitll be acceptable rp? I appreciate the input.

I'd say IMG Hydra gunboat or Kusari Explorer which has great RP possibilites.

Freelancer? Guboats? whatever for, bountyhunter, img, zoner (oh dont cry), the kusari explorer, maybe the rogue gunboat (oh why not).
Does the gmg has a gunboat?
thats about it, i would suggest the img gunboat, its good enough, and does look not bad either. Or the kusari explorer, not good in fighting, but a nice ship.

The Zoner GB has 6 turrets and lost the mines by now. It is a decent GB for a Freelancer to use. Not the best GB, but decent.

I had an IMG gunboat for a time, Loved it. Very good boat. Nice looking too. Um Don't go nuts with missles or nuttin...sersly. IT turns a bit slower as well, but still it can hold CAP armor. I'd srsly advise getting that.
