What type of BIOS error are you getting? Physical memory?

What was the program you opened that preceded the blue screen?

As for getting your accounts out, you really should've backed them up to a USB drive or similar.

However, and hopefully this will help.

1/ you need a second computer for this.
2/ you need a fully functional copy of the OS.
3/ You need to download The Ultimate Boot Cd

http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/ - Dos tools
or
http://www.ubcd4win.com/ - windows version.

Just follow the instructions and hopefully we can fix this.

final Note; There is the possibility that the BSod ( Bluescreen ) has been caused by a fault in a memory module, so it's worth getting that checked if the UBCD doesn't work.

And DO NOT wipe the HDD until you do as a replacement Ram Stick should allow the PC to boot up normal.

MM... RAMs usually work well if they are correct... before the boot up sequence begins, try punching the F8 key, for boot menu of windows, and try selecting the Last known good configuration. The windows should roll back any files that were damaged to it's previous state, and enable you to boot normaly.

For Freelancer accounts, I would recommend the FAM - Freelancer Account Manager. Just export the accounts into a file, and send it to yourself on some Webmail service: Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail...

Hey, dude.. I know how you feel.

I dumped a coffee in my laptop this morning and now it's pooched.

At least your issue isn't the result of gross incompetence. :(
