Unlawfuls Bounty Pot suggestion - melandor0 - 10-22-2009
An idea just landed in my head out of nowhere and someone correct me if this has/is already being done so I can hang my head in <strike>shame</strike> pure sad.
How about an unlawful bounty pot that spans all unlawful factions, where each week (Let's say Friday GMT 17:00) a lawful name (Liberty Police, Rheinland Military faction members etc.) is randomly drawn and a purely donational bounty pot is put on that head. Anyone can donate just for the fun of it and only volunteering names are in the "basket". I'd be happy to donate a gratuitous... 20 million for the first pot.
I wanted to post about this because I don't have a pirate/unlawful character that I really play on and wanted to hear everyones opinion. I'm coming up with mounds of fun times that could be had with this, but I'd like to hear the different RP reasons of why this pot is there. I'm working on one RP reason right now, but to eagerly wanted to hear everyones opinion so I'm posting that later (I reserve rights to scrap the entire thing and never come up with my own reason if I find I'm writing myself into a corner :rolleyes:)

True, we don't want to promote that. We could cycle it through the houses. I.E. This week it's Rheinland, next Bretonia. Maybe help a little to "depopulate" Liberty.

Yes, you will need more RP reasons in order to implement the this system. Make up a story for it.

Wait, we're already getting swarmed by unlawfuls, the house military and police is lacking in activity, and you want to encourage unlawfuls getting together to raid/gank whoever is left playing as lawful? How about NO!
Seriously, I understand the fun this event could bring, but seeing the bigger picture here it just seems like a bad idea. In fact, I'd recommend the exact same event, but the other way around. Houses set bounties on a random unlawful faction each weak and lawfuls can organize to hunt them down and get that bounty pot.

How about YES? I'm kind of ashamed I didn't think of that myself. Makes more sense both in-RP and OORP...
