The reason I'm asking is that if you haven't, Windows will be using the 'generic' drivers for your LAN ports and that could very well be causing your lag. Check for the motherboards drivers and look for the LAN/Miniport drivers, install those and that should fix it. As always, if you aren't sure you can do it yourself, take it to a qualified computer technician. Remember to back up your info, including you FL ID!! NOTE: peoples, if a idea someone gives you fixes the problem, let us know! Game problems - ophidian - 10-25-2009 Sounds like a chipset problem to me as well. Also, check the system options for IRQ mismatches or conflicts. An old tech issue but it may happen. ALSO, drivers may be conflicting with each other as well. Not installing drivers doesn't give Windows the idea that you are not using the card, best is to disable the card from system tag as well as over bios. (Bios is the safest) |
