I have the Mod Manager and Discovery Mod, and when I activated another Mod, I tried to load a saved game in Freelancer and my saved games have vanished. I found them, of course. I read the FAQ/Troubleshooting in Mod Manager but it doesn't help me one bit.
I have no Accts folder in my Freelancer game directory and when I tried to place my saved games under that folder (I copy/pasted from where they were to my Freelancer game directory), it didn't work when I tried to load my saved game in Freelancer.
Where on earth do I put my saved games? I'd really would rather not start all the way back in the beginning again. I'll keep fiddling around, maybe I'll stumble on the answer. In the meantime, in case I don't succeed, could anyone please help this newbie?

You can't play a save game from one mod or mod version on a nother. This goes with Vanilla saved games as well. You can only play saved games that you saved on your current mod.

Oh. Well, I deactivated the other Mod and I still have Discovery mod active, tried playing Freelancer and loading my saved game and nothing. Still not there. Is there anyway I can get my saved games to work within Freelancer? :unsure:

You just have to change the name of the folder that holds your save games to the name that the mod would give it. If that makes sense... I've done it before.

Then you did not do it correctly.
Go in to this folder:
My Documents\My Games\Freelancer\Accts\SinglePlayer
Open the folder of the previous mod version or where ever you saved games are stored.
Copy them, then put them back in the main SinglePlayer folder.
Done.

Your main single player folder is:
My Documents\My Games\Freelancer\Accts\SinglePlayer
Your saved games should be under something like....
My Documents\My Games\Freelancer\Accts\SinglePlayer\Discovery483beta5-
(or whatever your previous version was)
Then copy everything in that folder and paste them here:
My Documents\My Games\Freelancer\Accts\SinglePlayer

Keep in mind, going from a mod to vanilla probably will cause crashes as will going from one mod to another. Make sure to stay in the same series of mods or from Vanilla to a mod that keeps Vanilla (such as Discovery!).
