So this is being developed, using the Cryengine 2 (FPS game engine) for a space sim...
But it looks like they might pull it off (eventually), so simple and pretty. Furthermore, you can get out of the ship, but won't be able to land on planets.
Anyway, just wanted to share a pretty video with you. I wouldn't be able to actually play it anyway when/if it is finished.

Pity that they take so damn long to be released.. Jumpgate Evolution is taking AGES!

Ooh, wow.
It looks really pretty and the voice acting doesn't seem bad either.
Also: That song suited the video really well, and if the game has even more music like that, I sense that will create some intense atmosphere.

If they're using an FPS engine for it, then maybe the combat will be similar to Freelancer's. That should be pretty interesting.
