I just started the game (less then four hours) and noticed a mining guide sticky on this thread that was a mod, obviously.

Are sound mods allowed to be activated, those which do not change anything other than the sound files?
As far as I know Disco doesn't change any such files, but obviously it's better to be safe.

the mining mod is 'build into' disco 4.85. When you have 4.85 active, the mining mod is automatically active as well.
Anything you need will be included with disco, you arent allowed to run anything else on the side.

I know some folks have changed the default music out for rock or techno, buut...*shrugs*

It's discouraged, but if you do modify the music files, you can't get banned for it. I think.

All I said was that the Mining Mod he talks about, is server side... I kept on topic and answered the question... What did I do wrong this time...?
Oh yeah, and note there's far more than just 1 server... Whole bunch o' them.

Bans happen when using a mod creating unfairness, aka, most mods.
