I've heard rumors that a few high-profile members of the community have recently had their posting abilities removed for unspecified rule violations. Sources are trustworthy, but I can't believe this would happen-- after all, we do have a sanction report subforum.
But there's no forum-related sanctions here. Certainly anything involving 'severe and repetative violations of forum rules' would be posted there, right?
How can they improve if there's no way to know what they did wrong?

Not necessarily. It could be one admin abusing his power behind the backs of the others.
More likely a false rumor... we'll see when Kurosora, Xelgion, or n00bl3t posts here... if any of them can.

Members may be sanctioned without a public announcement. They will be notified by PM or email if this happens. I am aware of two people who had their posting rights removed and they were privately notified.
I am tired of people accusing the admin team of conspiracy and bias. We just don't do this. It's wrong and Igiss would kick our butts. In any case, the only people who have the power to do forum suspensions are Igiss, Korrd and Majkp.

For the record, I never accused the Admin team of bias or conspiring to do anything other than create an awesome forum, server, and mod.
I'm just worried we might have another BULLDOGNK on our hands here... just one that acts with a bit more subtlety.

If anyone has been sanctioned during their interaction with the community, isn't it better to make some kind of public announcement. This way people know why the sanctioned are missing. They are/were part of the community, it's best that the others know.. .
