Today, mining without an escort is suicidal. Now, the question is, how well do you pay your escorts? Comparedly to trading, you can give them a very good salary, one that they can live off from. Since I know my escorts personally, and I know they're reliable, I give them around 15 million credits per full run, and it's not even half my profits!

But sometimes I pick up an escort to protect me from other miners again.

Paying half would be far to mutch, since the escort wasnt mining, youll have to count that time too.
if you are two guys, with two mining ships, one train and one bomber, it would be half half of cause.
But miners that dont got trough shikoku wont have any problems, you can mine all day in Dublin and ship it to Ingoldstadt without ever meeting another soul.

it should depend on their ability and renown for their skill.
But if you make 70 mil from the haul, 10mil should be more than enough

We either go alone, or team up transports. Single atlas is a target, three make a fire team.
ANd if we pay, about 3 million per run, since we havent met a pirate yet.

My route doesn't usually run me into anyone.
We (Powermining, Inc) all have a miner and at least one escort. If trouble pops up someone can grab a fighter pretty fast.

i pay around 10, 15 mill. We can make a lot of money so its just fair to have the cargo safe to its destiny.

Solar Corp. pays 15-20 millions for escorts.
Everyone who's present in the group sends a certain sum to the escort. Result - escort've been payed well, miners - happy with their bunch o' cash.

And, how do you do it when there is lets say 2 transports flying separately, one flying other being filled and escort. We usually split the cash between the 2 trans 2 miners, and pay escorts from our earn on way back which is pretty good too. Thing is if I would pay him 15million, he would get more then rest of us
