I made a video to demonstrate some combat in discovery. As with all trailers, it is a little inflated compared to the real thing, but it looks awesome. I had to modify my disco install to coax it into making these fights happen and last so I could film them.
This is my first -nohud video, btw.
The following fights are present:
Outcasts vs BHG in Tau-37
Corsairs vs BHG in Omicron Gamma
Order vs BHG/Nomads in Omicron Minor
Blood Dragons/GC vs Kusari Naval Forces in Shikoku
Its nothing too special, just something I spent 2 hours putting together.
Discovery: Sirius at War - Bear - 11-30-2009
It doesn't really show off our mod, it really only shows pretty lasers and sound effects whilst alot of ships are buzzing around the screen. It should really show the daily aspect and not just epically big battles. Daily aspects would include a bunch of pirates pirating a convoy and slowly blowing up each one until the last one payed up (all in RP of course). You see, we can balance your PvP with our RP and get a good video where as if you only incorporate one of those two things the video get's a bit old after a while.

Oh, fair enough. I assumed as much 'cos you were thinking of calling your PVP mod the same thing.

Probably needs a bit of storyline in it. And to someone who has played alot of Freelancer, the fights might look a bit fimiliar and tedious.
Regardless. Its a good video, reminds me of the itano circus one. Good job Masternerdguy.

After re-reading and watching the video a number of times, I think I was a little to harsh. The video is good, you got some really great angles and the voice over at the start fitted in quite nicely. The only thing that I saw a problem with was repetition. I think you should have had cap ships battling it out as well (if that is possible). Other then that it is a nice piece of work and don't let anyone tell you otherwise mate.
