RACING EVENT! - agentmike - 12-01-2009
RACING EVENT
- All ships meet at Maine, the moon orbiting Pittsburgh.
- Entry Fee is 500,000 credits per ship.
- Winner takes all.
-QUALIFICATIONS TO WIN-
[color=#FFFFFF]- When the race starts you must fly to Planet Quillan in Lanquedoc. Buy 1 unit of Oil.
- Then fly to Ames Research Station. Buy 1 unit of Counterfeit Software.
- Then fly back to Maine. First one back, wins the entire pot.
-RULES-
- you can ONLY use mines as weapons.
- NO Cruise Disruptors, NO guns can be used whatsoever.
- If you are caught cheating in ANY way, you'll be disqualified from the race.
- Cheating includes:
Shooting anyone in the race for any reason with anything.
Going to a base not specified in the race to buy the items.
That should be it!
Anyone that wants to participate, go meet me at Maine. NOW!

sure, we might do another one later...
you can shoot anyone or anything you want to, as long as you dont hurt anyone in the race.
but the idea is that no-one does anything to harm another person, except for using mines.

it is a race, because there are various different shortcuts you can use to get to the locations....
like jumpholes versus tradelanes, ect
EDIT: You can go any route you choose....if you choose to fly through a guard system, then go for it, although i wouldnt recommend it.:)

i picked lanquedoc, because its a council controlled area, and you can buy a unique commodity there (oil) to prove you made it.
you shouldnt be bothered much by anyone in gallia as long as you dont take off towards the rest of gallia...
