Can't create a character - Doober - 12-02-2009
Hi,
I have been trying to set up a LAN server to play with a friend. I was able to get the server all up except for one major problem that when I attempt to create a new character, it says that the character name is already in use. There are no other users on the server right now. My friend has not gotten a copy of the game yet, I wanted to make sure everything would work before he got the game. I have done some searches and it looks like this happens if you change setup options after activating the mod, but I left everything at default when I activated it. I have even tried reinstalling the whole game with the mod and the mod manager. Does anyone have any idea what I can do to fix this? Is there a way that I can get in as an admin and just create the accounts without using the in-game create a character? Thanks in advance for any help!
