When an NPC talks to you about scanning or anything else, they call you freelancer whatever dash whatever. Would it be possible to, instead of calling you freelancer, to have them call you by your affiliation? If you have an affiliation they would call you, for example, if you have a junker tag, call you junkers instead of freelancer? Would that be possible?

I agree with Nightfall, but I think it would be a GREAT idea if it could be implemented. Unfortunatly, it is not possible due to it being hard coded into the Freelancer engine.

Third time issue was brought up.. Third time we have to say its impossible. Hard-codes. Can't edit this.
Also, Commodore, just because you think it would be cool and should be done, isn't going to change the fact that it CAN'T.

how about editing it so that it says pilot dash whatever. i think this could be done since all it would be doing is editing the sound (of course we would have to change all the sound for everything which would make the mod HUGE but we should do that cuz of the new factions anyways) how about making a "special" add-on pack that u can DL if u want and this would edit the sound?
just an idea. that way ppl with not much hard drive space or junky internet wouldnt need this but ppl that want this could have it
