First off,
This is NOT a /rant /rage /I quit message..
Back in 2006, my wife was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. She went through 11 months of chemo & was cancer free & in remission as of August 2007.
October of 2009, she went and had her check up. a CAT scan found something. They then did a PET scan & found her Cancer had returned & with a vengeance. Since that time, we have been going to Memphis weekly for her chemo treatments. So far, they don't seem to be doing any good & she is getting worse.
We now are trying an experimental treatment that has us traveling to Memphis twice a week.
With the time taking care of her & trying to keep her comfortable as well as tend to her needs, I no longer have the time I wish to invest into playing Freelancer or running SOB & doing role play for /with it.
As of today, I announce my hopefully temporary leave from leading SOB.
Sage ( Sagemoon, Dominatrix) will now be head of the Shadow Outcast Brigade as well as BLS.
Serpentis will still run BLS with Sage overseeing it as far as the combined faction leadership.
Sage was / is one of the original founding members of SOB & as well as being the owner / head admin of the Discovery USA server, I feel she has far above average sense of role play & responsibility & I trust her to do the faction proud.
LoEM will be running SOB on the USA server.
I will try to log on at least once a month to keep my characters alive, but wont be doing much long term rp other than what little I can do in game for the short periods I am on.
Any role play, questions, or what have you regarding SOB/BLS should be directed to Sage & who ever she appoints as her staff.
Hopefully things will get better & I will return, but for now I just taking it a day at a time.

I've seen many friends, and been with several family members who went through different forms of cancer, so I know the horror that it is., and wish that noone had to endure that; friends or enemies.
Sage and Serpentis are more than capable of handling the SOB/BLS, and will do it well while you are away. As always, if any of them need help, they know how to reach me.
I hope to whatever higher power/s is/are out there that your wife recovers from this, and all the positive energy I can muster is coming your way mate.
