I designed a new trace signature for your ship, thats being uploaded right now to your main computer. This will identify your ship as part of a new Phalanx, this time a joint outcast/lane hacker operative, designed to recruit the young rebels around and crush the houses.
I known about your concern with this issue, related to your past. But you known, Henry, you had given me such good ideas that cant be discarded right away just because you fear those ghosts from the past. You have to learn to live with it. I give you the choice, you insert this signature in your identification and join the Phalanx, or you remain alone as of always.
Nicholas Volsung already joined it and he will be your admiral, in case you accept my invitation. He had made good experience especially concerning the systems on the rim. You will take orders from him, and he from me, as I will control the tactical operations from here, where a lane hacker guerrila is established. My Leiden office was closed due to the depletion of resources on our finances, necessary to rebuild the new Theseus. I known you have been against it for a long time, and it pissed you off to see the Theseus back into action. But Im determined to crush the houses, to bring revolution and freedom for all it citizens, and with the genetical research from dr James Edwards, a new age will begun with a better, enhanced humanity. James had got a transport from Beaumont to here, and he is now safe in our underground installations.

Ok Andre, you win. I inserted the signature on my ship and will accept your leadership. I knewn Nicholas personally recently, here on Malta, and he convinced me about the necessity of a union of outcasts and lane hackers towards a common goal. No more lone pirates going in and out taking fire from the houses without support.
About my past, cardamine freed me from all those pains. The mutations from it brought me to a new kind of existence. Im not anymore pissed off with the Theseus being recomissioned by the funds gathered by Raphael Thames hacking operations. And he is indeed right about the overpowering of the houses in the recent months.
I will let Thames in Malta and I will get back to Liberty and restart my operations. Thames also said to me he heard rumours about a rogue admiral within the liberty navy who attempted a purgue and, after failing it, is joining with you in California Minor, from where he will launch his dreadnought against the navy. I hope he brings a good assistance to our fight.

To: Henry Scuttari, Nicholas Volsung, Julian Sark

Gentleman, I welcome Julian Sark on our ranks. He is a former liberty navy officer and one of our previous sympathizers inside the navy. According to the memorandum brought to me, Julian is bringing his liberty dreadnought from the navy and will use it. He will be our second admiral.

Comm ID: Karl Witz, diplomatic office, base UB-4, California Minor
To: Andre Moire

Sir, here is my study of possibilities for diplomacy with two groups active in Sirius: UOG and Nayehiya.
The UOG is a molly clan and very committed to their objective. They dont sit on guard systems and go to action without concern for results. The friendly status can result in a alliance against the Bretonian government if we suceed to get more pilots for a fighter and gunboat deployment. I must congratulate Diana Torres for her good job as diplomat, he is back on a trip to Cali base for a deal concerning the distribution of Bluedrop to the gaians. Unfortunatelly this deal was not sucessfull, the gaians found the price of our shipments a bit high.
The Nayehiya is a liberty rogue clan. I was to send Diana to them, but this was not possible due to a ceasefire that they have with the SF for two weeks. For our understanding, a ceasefire lasts one week, and after that the opposite faction is put on neutral or unfriendly status. Since the Nayehiya will not give any assistance against the SF, I considered not to send Diana to them, and keep them at neutral status.
However, we discovered that the SF gave a "license" to the Nayehiya to carry nomad brains. We dont acknowledge the legitimacy of such "license", and any unlawful clan accepting the legitimacy of any "license" coming from the hypocrite house governments are not worth of our trust. As such, I decided to put the Nayehiya at unfriendly status and I just want confirmation from you about that.

Comm ID: Andre Moire, main office, base UB-4, California Minor
To: Karl Witz

Confirmed. The Nayehiya is on unfriendly status from now. They will only be put back to neutral status if they honour their commitment to the liberty rogues, and cancel any deals they have with the house militaries.

Comm ID: Andre Moire, main office, base UB-4, California Minor
To: All Phalanx vessels

All Phalanx vessels, the Nayehiya faction is now on unfriendly status. If they are found engaging the liberty navy, or any other lawful force, retreat and do not give any assistance to them.

From: Julian Sark
To: Andre Moire

This is Sark speaking. I am now refurbishing the fleet I still command, which chose to follow me, instead the Liberty interests. So, here I present to you: commander Robert Humboldt, and captain Frederic Reidrich.

After we set up the ships, we will be ready for action.

Sark out.

Comm ID: admiral Julian Sark, onboard the Defiant

The Defiant is in guard position in Dublin, like it was required. It will launch attacks against Bretonia from there.
When I was in Edinburg, I had to stop the ship for a moment, since my lieutenant, Marcos Giovanni, informed me about a mutiny of loyalists inside the ship. As you all known, I brought the ship from the liberty navy, after I betrayed them and pledged my allegiance to the Phalanx. However, not all members of my crew are of the same opinion as me. We conducted investigations about the loyalists inside the ship, and two of them were arrested. Im still looking for the others.

Comm ID: captain Henry Scuttari, onboard the Perseus

We encountered a corsair gunboat yesterday on entrance to California. Name of the ship was Zealot. I opened fire on him. He engaged, and after some time ran from me, docking at the gate. I let him go, since corsairs are not my priority at the moment. The Perseus is currently at Alcatraz.

Scuttari out.

Comm ID: admiral Nicholas Volsung, onboard the Theseus

We raided Tau 44 today, destroying some IMG guard fighters. A fighter from the BSG, called Warviper, came from Tau 23 to give them assistance, but I was already finishing the raid when he arrived. My shields were depleted to 25% by the guard pilots. They fought very fiercely.
Warviper followed the Theseus to Tau 23. There I launched a fighter wing against him. Due to the asteroid field, targetting the BSG fighter was not easy for the Theseus. The BSG fighter eventually ran, jumping back to Tau 44 and giving us the victory. We departed from there to Omega 47. We captured two guard pilots, both of them IMG majors, which were executed and throwed by the airlock.

Volsung out.

ooc: Hylden has left the community, definitely, and gave me the command of the Defiant, a liberty dreadnought that deserted the liberty navy and joined the Phalanx. Now the Phalanx is a one-man clan, which for me is not a problem.
The BSG fighter, Warviper, switched to another ship (possibly a battleship) when I was cruising in Tau 23. He taunted me in private chat when I was already far from Tau 44. Switching ships is against the rules. If you engage and ran, you cant jump to another ship.

Comm ID: Julian Sark, onboard the Defiant

I encountered one corsair in Dublin, Red Beard from TBH. I engaged him, but he eventually ran away from me, docking at the gate to New London. I proceed to Omega 49 for a change of loadout. Some time later, Red Beard came with two other ships, the Osiris class battleship called Velasco and one other gunboat whose name I dont remember. They first jumped to Dublin, but as I was not there they proceed to Omega 49 and attacked me near Gran Canaria. I was outnumbered and badly damaged, and made a forced landing in Gran Canaria. Ive got several navigation problems during the battle. My lieutenant said they damaged our navigation systems using some kind of computer virus.

Sark out.

ooc: I was intentionally rammed by the gunboats. Was so fast that I dont had time to get any screenshot.

Comm ID: Diana Torres, Phalanx faction relations, base UB-4, California Minor

Our drone had made several propaganda for new recruits. Unfortunatelly most pirates want to be "independent", but they forget that this "independence" results in them being outnumbered and defeated. I known why this happens. Some factions have a rigid structure, where people dont have enough freedom of movement. Also some factions practically "sleep with the enemy", declaring neutrality to the corrupt house governments. But the Phalanx dont have such rigid structure, and also dont make such deals, so I think they need to reconsider.

Diana out.

Comm ID: Andre Moire, main office, base UB-4, California Minor

Sark, they were obviously going after you, as they got first to Dublin and, as you were not there, they jumped to Omega 49. This means the TBH is concerned with us, which for me is good news. First their gunboat ran in Dublin, then they bring a battleship and two gunboats against the Defiant in Omega 49. This means we are a threat for them.

Moire out.

Comm ID: admiral Nicholas Volsung, onboard the Theseus

In response to the attack on the Defiant, I ordered a raid in Omicron Gamma. The Theseus launched from Casablanca base, in Omega 47. Several corsair fighters were destroyed, including one TBH fighter called Yanez. We attacked patrols in orbit of planet Crete, and near Tripoli shipyard. Returning to Omega 41, we also attacked patrols around Leon base. No marine raid was realized, and the only prisoners we took were 10 corsair pilots, among them one lieutenant from the Tripoli guard. All of them were executed and throwed by the airlock.

Volsung out.

Comm ID: major Robert Humboldt, onboard the Vampire

To: Andre Moire

I pledged my allegiance to the Phalanx yesterday, at planet Malta. I following my admiral, Julian Sark, in his departure from the liberty navy. Like him, Im also tired of the hypocrisy of the liberty navy, and the lack of recognition for the most competent officers. Our small fleet was put in a low regard, based on the fact that my admiral, Julian Sark, had not the proper "contacts" into the corrupt circles of the liberty government. Not the entire fleet joined the Phalanx. In fact, the other gunboat and the two cruisers had stay in the navy.
I was previously a lieutenant on the Vampire. But our commander, major Thomas Richardson, also a loyalist, was left behind when we departed from the planet Manhattan. He was in a party with the corrupt officers of another fleet, that he regards as "buddies" but never really cared for him. I just remember one time when the Vampire engaged several xenos and one of these "buddies", major Paul Martin, left us alone, going away with his gunboat. Now this coward is a captain of a cruiser. This is patent proof that the liberty navy never cared for us, and prefer to promote cowards than to promote competent officers.
So Thomas got drunk in his party, and woke very late in the morning. Ive got the gunboat for myself and departed with the rest of the crew, which also dont like him. In the way to Malta Ive bought cardamine from the junkers, for myself and all the crew members, and we feel ourselves enhanced with it. I dont known if its just a sensation, of if its a real enhancement, but we are now more willing to fight. I known the navy had made experiments with drugs in some marines, but nothing is compared with this drug of yours. Its very suitable for pilots or crew members. I can assure you theres no loyalist inside my ship, because all the crew is taking cardamine.

Humboldt out.

Comm ID: captain Henry Scuttari, onboard the Perseus

The Perseus conducted a raid today in Texas, destroying police fighters near Houston. A SA fighter, called Angelico, was present, but he refused to engage and docked somewhere (possibly at the planet). The police fighters fought bravely, facing the odds. They showed more courage than the SA fighter.
After he departed, came admiral SA Annaes in his fighter. She said to me to leave the system. I proceed to engage, but she docked in battleship Mississipi, giving us the victory. The Perseus departed to Beaumont. Some of the police pilots were captured and delivered to the junkers.

Scuttari out.

The Phalanx Communications Network - fwolf - 08-06-2007

Comm ID: admiral Nicholas Volsung, onboard the Theseus

We conducted some patrols on Omicron Alpha today, more for lacking of what to do. Found two bounty hunters destroyers shooting at outcast destroyers near Ibiza base. They were identified as The Deliverer and The Yukikaze, both ships from the SSO. I ordered them to leave the system. They dont obeyed, so we fired on them. During the engagement, the destroyers rammed the Theseus, and we've got some navigation problems, but we were able to destroy The Deliverer. The Yukikazi, then, agreed to leave the system, and headed to Tau 37.

Volsung out.

The Phalanx Communications Network - fwolf - 08-07-2007

Comm ID: admiral Julian Sark, onboard the Defiant

The Defiant was repaired, but we engaged SCRA forces in Omega 49, close to the Omega 50 jump hole. They were in two bombers, Dieter Zehn and Nikolai Varnava, and one gunboat, Kerensky's Honor. The Defiant holded position, and was able to damage the gunboat and one of the bombers slightly, however we were forced to retreat back to Omega 49, with the engines in flames. The zoners rescued the crew who escaped the ship, since some parts of it have blowed entirely. Ive made another forced landing, this time coordinated by a zoner station in the planet. We will need more repairs.
I dont known too much about the SCRA, except they are in hostile stance. I require some information from the main office.

Sark out.

Comm ID: Andre Moire, main office, base UB-4, California Minor

To: Julian Sark

Julian, friend, dont do this again, its suicidal. Fact is that the liberty navy, where you were before you joined our ranks, dont teached you the guerrila tactics that we employ. I will ask Henry to teach you that, how to attack the enemy when he is weakened.
The SCRA is a faction of freaks who escaped from a asylum in planet Denver. According to the hessians, one of these freaks was a history professor, and this professor was obssessed with the war that resulted in the creation of the Sirius colonies, 800 years ago. As you probably known, there were two sides in that war, the alliance and the coalition. The colonies were formed after the alliance lost that war and escaped in sleeperships to the Sirius sector.
This history professor convinced himself, and the other freaks who followed him, that they passed by a memory manipulation in the asylum, and that they all came from a sleepership that was in the side of the coalition. But in fact such ship dont existed, as the coalition had won that war and there was no need to escape from anything. The coalition was dismantled and formed their own colonies, and these colonies even fought between themselves for control of the Sol sector. You can ask Nicholas, he came from the slavic states. His real name is Nicholai Ivanov Kravchenko, his friends called him Volsung after he was promoted to captain in the slavic armed forces. He and part of his crew were rescued by the hessians in Omega 55 after his battleship, the Twilight, had failed with a experimental warp drive and attacked by the Wild. Theres no jump hole back to the Sol sector, so he was sent to us and given command of the Theseus. Henry teached him guerrila tactics, and he will now teach you. I require you to send your ship to Alcatraz base, in the California system, after you finish the repairs.

Moire out.

Ensign Antonio Lopez walk on the small deck of the Perseus, where four fighters are located. He looks to the picture of his wife and child, a beaultiful green-eyed girl. Chief Paulo Torres come through a door:
Chief Paulo Torres: We are going out. The Perseus is sending its fighters to the Theseus.
Ensign Antonio Lopez: Is that permanent?
Paulo: Yes it is.
Antonio go to the toilet, and find Scuttari washing his hands.
Lopez: Captain...
Scuttari: Dont say, I known it. Fact is, the fighters are being costly for this ship. Your wife, how is she?
Lopez: She is pregnant. Nine months.
Scuttari: Nice, you can use this transfer to go to Malta and visit her. Knowns that...I wash my hands everyday, more than dr Ortega.
Lopez: Dr Ortega?
Scuttari: You probably dont known him. Jorge Ortega is a doctor in the cloned organs trade.
Scene cuts to medical rooms, the white and red make a colorful contrast, as the old man takes cloned foetus in his hands and throwns them into a bin.
Scene cuts back to the toilet.
Scuttari: Actually the trading of cloned organs is considered illegal, unless you have proper authorization, but who cares for the rich and fat governors of the houses? Dr Ortega dont need to wash his hands...he use gloves for it.
Scuttari go to the bridge, and check the messages in his neural net.

Comm ID: Dom Emilio Cortez, planet Malta

Scuttari, its a great pleasure to contact you. Doctor Ortega needs a covering for a smuggler in Liberty space, and I thought it will be a good idea to use the services of the brave Phalanx for it. The name of the smuggler is Arnaldo Navarro, a known guy of mine who ships drugs to the junkers of Trafalgar base. Arnaldo will be shipping contraband to Houston, he will be coming from Puerto Rico. I ask that you cover him for some runs, as the liberty navy is always using their big cruisers to stop smugglers in small freighters. I wish you the best, my friend.

Cortez out.

Scuttari: What a coincidence, I was just talking about him.
Woodland: Who?
Scuttari: Ortega. We have work to do. One smuggler is shipping contraband to Houston, and Dom Cortez want us to cover him.
Woodland: Is that those cloned organs mutated with cardamine, or are those diseased cells that he sends to insemination clinics?
Scuttari: I dont known what is, I just want to known we have to cover this smuggler. What do you see in the scanners?
Woodland: Five liberty cruisers.
Scuttari: Oh, how they are stupid. Why to deploy five cruisers when most of the outcasts around are in fighters? They have so many money that they dont known where to spend it.
