Just an idea that me and Luka (ingame name, dunno his forum name) came up with. Essentially the RHA and perhaps some associated allies will raid Vierlande and try to break someone/multiple someones out of the prison. I'm thinking have a couple of RHA fighters (and possibly a Pirate Cruiser or Vidar handing out supplies) will be distracting the RM/RFP + their allies whilst a neutral repped ship attempts to dock with Vierlande and get a set amount of prisoners. The RHA and allies would then have to aid the ship back to Vogtland, making sure the RM can't find the base of course. The Kanzler's forces would probably have some fighters and possibly a bomber or two, maybe even a gunboat. If the neutral repped ship is destroyed/incapacitated in some way, then the RHA would disperse in all directions and head to the nearest friendly base.
Just a thought, feel free to post suggestions, criticisms, hatepost, ideas, or feedback of any kind as this is only a rough idea. The basic prison break idea can be bent, shaped, molded, and broken to whatever the players that would potentially be involved would like. This is my first time at trying to organize something like this, so be gentle!;)

Such ideas are lovely and any event of this sort is great.
Though there is still a large problem with Vierlande and therefore I would hand in a big veto for a prison break.
Let state again, that I try to help people set up their events in Rheinland if I think they are fitting and will be fun. And of course if I can sacrifice the time.
But now my explanation why I am against a Vierlande raid.
In the Rheinland lawfull and unlawfull roleplay, Vierlande takes a special place.
The imprisonment in Vierlande is the ultimate threat towards any person breaking the Rheinland laws.
In the terms of the Rheinland roleplay, this station is a place of no return.
There was only 1.....and I say again, only 1 recorded prison break from Vierlande.
This event was based around the LWB character Udo Ackermann.
Back then, Vierlande was already a place where you won't get out anymore.
Only with the combine forces of the LWB, RHA, SCRA and a mole within the RFP, it was possible to get Udo Ackermann out.
This gap in security was closed shortly after the prison break.
This is the reason why I try to argue people out of using Vierlande as an event thing.
It quite ruins the ultimate threat towards the unlawfulls and renders their decision to fight, instead of surrendering, quite useless.
Not every unlawfull pilot is the "Down with the Kanzler, freedom for the Volk! Either that or I choose to die!" type of person. They are human beeings and they choose life whenever it is possible.
As a solution I would recommend another place for a prison break.
You could ambush an prison transport of the RFP, use any other station or planet for this purpose, since the RFP has on every station some cells for the small time criminals. On the planets there are prisons as well.
Vierlande is a high security prison for individuals too dangerous to keep elsewhere or a place where certain people vanish to.
I think here comes the time where I vote for a second prison station in space within Rheinland.
Maybe in Munich or even in New Berlin.
A medium security prison as an example.

I'm all for new events that could get our birds up in the air, and I'm sure that everyone who attends'll have fun with the RP and PVP sides of it. But I oppose using Vierlande for the reasons Malexa stated.

Well that's why we have feedback, isn't it? Thanks for the input, I'll rewrite the idea in a bit and then we can see if it makes a bit more sense. I thought the idea of a prison break was fairly original as I've never seen anything of the sort, but if Vierlande wouldn't work then we can always try something else.

Great idea Kaiwren ! I endorse this plan and hope that in the future, Disco has more "Prison" breaks events in every major house location. Can you imagine the possible fun and chaos from seeing infamous terrorists (such as Death.Runner) escape from the maximum hold in LPI space? Oh that sends chills down my spine just thinking about it.

Would be real cool. I think someone came to me to talk about a raid on Sugarland... Sugarland yes. Huntsville not so much, only cuz the Mississippi is right there. And Attica? What's that?:P

The current idea is on hold, I'm in the process of rewriting it. Would you guys rather like to see a prison break on a prisoner transport, a Prison Liner, or something else? Read the posts above to see why we couldn't do Vierlande it makes a lot of sense. I'm thinking Prison Liner right now, but that would have to involve scrapping the neutral repped ship thing... perhaps with a battleship or something? Maybe even New Berlin? I don't know this is all very open to feedback, if you have any suggestions please do post them.:)

I know when we attacked Vierlande, it was tons of fun. The thing really is heavily defended. I'd suggest doing the idea, just not having it succeed - it'll still be fun! Or a Prison Liner works.

What about an event that actually PUTS a prisoner in Vierlande?
Like replacing a prisoner with another guy/gal to be the insider for some - i dunno - reason?
