Brown - 08-02-2007 if your computer says that the connection is good, then the ISP maybe not working at the time. if all other internet-related apps have their internet features working normaly, then it is probably your firewall. but, how are you posting this if your browsers aren't working? Need help with Intenet - yurineova - 08-02-2007 He has a point :D Anywho, I'd be willin to bet its your firewall. What do you use for Firewall, Norton? I used Norton for my Firewall (Dad makes me:dry:) and sometimes, it'll block out my intrenet applications (Like TeamSpeak) even though I set them to be accepted. Also, if youre using Norton, make sure you constantly update it so bugs are fixed. Yet another thing to laugh at me for. Whats the list so far? Uses AOL Uses Norton Internet Security Uses Intel Chipset Graphics Uses a 16K Modem on Laptop (When I cant use my Broadband Connection:D) Has a c***-A** laptop Slow as all heck computer And I still can blast anyone with no lag:D Oh, according to Xfire's Rig detection, this is what I have: Gaming Rig Manufacturer: Sony Processor: Intel Pentium 4 Memory: 512 SSD-ROM Shared memory Hard Drive: 200 GB Video Card: Intel Graphics Monitor: Samtron Sound Card: Intel Speakers/Headphones: Speakers Keyboard: Standard Mouse: Standard, Optical Mouse Surface: Standard Operating System: Windows XP |
