4.85 connection problem - Ghostofvong - 02-20-2010
Hi all, sorry that my first post on the forums is a plea for help...:$
I've recently heard of Discovery and was keen to try it out, but can't connect to any servers.
Below are the steps I took in installing and attempting to run the mod.
-Fresh install of Freelancer
-Downloaded Mod Manager 1.3
-Deleted all mods that came with FLMM - I'd heard somewhere that you shouldn't have any mods in the folder other than Discovery
-Used FLMM to unzip the Discovery 4.85 mod, then activated it using FLMM
-Ran the global server workaround file
Single player runs fine, from the five-minute test I gave it, however when I select either Lan or Internet multiplayer, all servers appear greyed out and I cannot join them, even those that are running 4.85. Anyone have any ideas?
EDIT: Apologies, disregard this post. Apparently there was an automatic patch that didn't run the first time I tried running the game, works fine now.
