Who controls/owns Briesen Mining Facility? - davnolan - 02-21-2010
Before you write this one off as a newb who doesn't know what he's doing, let me prove it's a legitimate question.
If you do an F9 on Briesen it says "The Briesen Mining Facility is controlled by Daumann Heavy Construction for the extraction of of Copper and Cobalt deposits from the system."
That being said, I had an IMG try and tell me THEY owned it when I asked them to leave the mining fields nearby. I did a little digging, and this might be why. Do an F9 on Furstenfelde Cloud and you get THIS info.
"A large pocket within the nebulae containing Copper, Cobalt and Silver-bearing asteroids. The Independent Mining Guild (IMG) operates the Briesen Mining Facility within the cloud, despite the threat of Corsair attacks."
I'm assuming that the stations own info supercedes that of the cloud...but maybe someone could put this in the notebook for changes to be made in the next update. Might save some IMG a little frustration.

Briesen is owned by Daumann Heavy construction; and yes the cloud info card says its the img, little mistake over there. The img operates Freistadt
