Keyboards and mice. (not the living mice) - Hades-Warpig - 08-10-2007

Well, I am wondering what kind of keyboards and mice everyone uses? I think they have an effect on ability. Mice for sure like dpi (sensitivity) and stuff. DPI can effect how fast you can aim at somone for instance. Keyboards most of the time. Keyboards and mice also can make games much more fun. As i am tryping this I am useing my peice of crap probably 10$ plastic keybaord. Sure it gets the job done. It has a very plasticy sound when you type and not many special keys. For a mouse I have my 8$ 3 button microsoft optical mouse. 800dpi which is normal for an optical mouse. Its your standard plastic mouse. The poll above is to see ofc what you are useing. IM CURIOUS. Im also going for longest poll ever. Thank you!
Im also VERY happy that tomarrow my Logitech G15 keyboard and G5 2000dpi laser mouse is comming! yay!:yahoo:

PS: who uses trackballs lol

Been using trackballs for years. Much more accurate than a mouse and easier on wrist when you spend hours on a comp like I do. Don't have to chase mouse all over desk and requires less space, especially if you have a race wheel and a joystick hooked up too.

I use a Logitech G15 gaming keyboard and wireless laser mouse generally... but I switch to a trackball when the wireless runs out of batteries XD

Mine is a Saitek Gaming keyboard (yes thats what its called:dry:). I also have this weird laser mouse, which is very sensitive. It also has a hole in it, which was how it was made, not me sticking a hammer through it. It also has a detachable back part to adjust to the size of your hand...pretty odd idea, but hey, its Japanese. It only has 3 buttons and the mousewheel though, but I am happy with it.

does the keyboard that came built into my alienware laptop count as a gaming keyboard?

my mouse is a logitech optical nightmare...8 buttons and scroll....quite nice...

@McNeo...have used the saitek...very nice...wont fit on my desk right, though....

Use stock keyboard (Ya, its c***, but it works, neh?) and an optical mouse. more precise than a ball mouse, but tends to be a little more problematic (It was a pain for me to install my 8d scolling ball optical mouse, escpecially cause the idiots give you a floppy disk instead of a CD!) And yes, my mouse uses a scroll BALL instead of a scroll wheel. So I can scroll anyway I want:)

btw, 8D works like this incase if your brain is farting;

1: Up
2: Down
3: Left
4: Right
5: Up-Right
6: Down-Right
7: Up-Left
8: Down-Left

:yahoo:

Actually, I have 2 keyboards connected to the pc(don't know why I would need a second keyboard), one is a normal keyboard, the other is one from *shudders* packard bell with extra buttons and such, mouse is a Razer Copperhead(not the best, but hey, I don't need to zoom all over the desk for getting from one corner of the screen to the other).
