A decision that I require help with deciding - Silver.2 - 03-26-2010 You see, I have a bit of a project going on, a kind of quasi-terrorist-researcher-abomination-superhuman-experiment...thingy. Called Crux, mind you. So, to get to my decision. Crux is currently operating using a Repair Ship, which I roleplay as being modified to include lving space and storage. From this point, Crux is building a network of mercenaries, civilians, and others in order to carry out large-scale operations or intelligence gathering missions. I fear, however, that this Repair Ship just wont do for much longer. He needs a ship which could presumably hold enough living space for a small force of militants (mercenaries, ex-pirates, etc), a team of 5 scientists which he has forced into service, and perhaps a few "special operatives". And himself, of course. It would also have to be within such a stretch of imagination tha it could (or could be modified) to hold 2 or 3 atmospheric shuttles, and perhaps a storage bay for single-personel enhancing space suits (kind of like a power suit) which I could use within forum stories and certain RP scenarios, all without really changing it's shape beyond the ingame model. So, seeing as I really cant decide, what do you think I could use? Some other restrictions would be that it must be usable with the Pirate ID (I havent applied for a proper Terrorist ID as of yet, and probably wont for a while) and that it isn't too cluttered with guns. He perfers...other means than direct force. A decision that I require help with deciding - Bazza - 03-26-2010 First thing that comes to mind is a decommissioned slave liner outfitted with all the aforementioned amenities. Borderworlds Transport also comes to mind. A decision that I require help with deciding - tazuras - 03-26-2010 Just get a Firefly, you know you want to. Edit: Slave liner works too. A decision that I require help with deciding - Bear - 03-26-2010 ' Wrote:Borderworlds Transport also comes to mind. I was thinking the exact same thing. Certainly go with the BWT. It has the aerial things at the front that look like large scanning devices of some sort and that could aid your RP well. It's big-ish so you won't have to imagine to much. Go with the BWT. A decision that I require help with deciding - Silver.2 - 03-26-2010 Bazza, I do think a Slave Liner would work, but it's not allowed with the current Pirate ID I must use As far as a BWT, please no. I simply...well, I dont know. I just cant imagine a shuttle popping out of it's underside or anything more than 5 people living on board And, I dont think a Firefly could really hold all of that... My problem is that it seems most of the ships that would really work are either too gun-heavy or not allowed by the Pirate ID A decision that I require help with deciding - Bazza - 03-26-2010 ' Wrote:Bazza, I do think a Slave Liner would work, but it's not allowed with the current Pirate ID I must use Ahh, didn't know that. But you're right, it doesn't. What house is your guy from? You could use the small transport from that house perhaps? A decision that I require help with deciding - Silver.2 - 03-26-2010 Libertonian. And, the mammoth wouldnt make much sense, to be honest. It's primarily used by coorporations and agencies he's going against Im gearing more towards something that isn't necessarily civilians, but is open and would be available in a black market setting, or as a ship that's withion the bounds of overtaking. Imagine your shuttles are under it and that tunnel sort of thing is actually a hallway to get to them. A decision that I require help with deciding - Bazza - 03-26-2010 P-transes are awesome. I had mine outfitted with a larger cargo bay door and a unique rack storage system for up to four fighter craft, a self-designed heavy towing system and auxillery thrusters allowing the ship to act as a tug for disabled or damaged vessels. :) A decision that I require help with deciding - Silver.2 - 03-26-2010 Well, Bear, that is a thought. But, that still leaves the point of 1) a Lab, and 2) Living space to house 25-odd people |
