I was wondering if it was possible to make a time every week or two where massive NPC battles take place? As in, 5 battleships, a couple cruisers, and a dozen of both fighters and bombers?
It would add a little "umph" to the roleplay as Houses duke it out...and any player who decides to take part in the battle is most likely going to be committing suicide, but maybe players could make it through if they worked as teams & covering each other?

No I dont want to see infi cored NPC BSes firing Razors at each other and annihilating anyone who comes into their razor's range

Just work mission tricks at low server load. Flocks of NPCs. The .:j:. maintained a squadron of NPC Scorpions over the S-13->NB JH back during the diamond-niobium run. 'twas pretty funny... and owntastic.
