The history of the UKMG
The UKMG was founded 50 years ago by a group of Britionain independent mine owners and some of there former employs. Each was disenfranchised by the main mining and shiping corperations of siris. And so after being contacted by one of the most ambitious miners the UKMG was formed and is now resnoalby esablished within siris with sevral mining operations and shipping contracts for there gathered resources. Due to the nature of the guild they are able to reamin neutral with many of the factions within siris with the exeption of the xenos. They allso have a sympaty for the mollys due to the simalairty of their foundings. When the UKMG was formed 50 years ago they were completly neutral with all factions as the founders moto was "Hard feelings make for hard times" and this moto has been adheared to for 50 years but given the political climate of the siris sector at this time the current CO of the UKMG the son of the head founder has decided to open negotations with BMM and the IMG in regards to a parcial merger but allso to retain total autonmy for all UKMG ships to operate under the current CO.

UKMG police inspection report
The current CO of UKMG has reportedly been under suspision from the Britonian Poilce Athuoraty for suspected molly ties after sevrel UKMG ships were seen leaving the dublin system unmolested by the mollys dispite hauling large amounts of gold. Apon leaving the court house The UKMG CO commanly know by his ship callsing as ThunderHawk was asked by the collony news servics how if he has no molly ties did he manage to leave dublin with the gold he replied by saying "Mollys Mollys Mollys that seems to be the only factor you are considering in this case consider this mollys are human so are we all so like all humans are suseptibale to matters of humanity" after this comment he borded a UKMG ship and left the system. When the aresting officer was asked wether he thought ThunderHawk is a molly he replyed "I dearly hope not not even the mollys deserve that punishment" so it seems that ThunderHawk is a secritive and cryptic CO but has been cleared of all charges by the courts and is now free to return to buisness.

Colanly News Service Report On Pilot Inferno Of The UKMG
Yet more scandel has hit the UKMG as last week it emerged that one of the founders sons has died while on a mining operation within the dresden dimond feild it apears that his sheild failed due to a weapon missfire allowing an asteroid to impact his cockpit and causing instant decompersion and imparing his ejection mecanism. His next of kin have been informed personaly by the CO of UKMG ThunderHawk and has been roumored to have paid them an unasked for compensation of 500,000 credits. I think its good to see a mining faction but i agree keeping neutral to 90% of the factions will be hard as most mineable areas are in other factions territory.

Yes, BMM would seem to be the most appropriate.

Suggest if planning primarily for Bretonian operations and being more sided with the Bret government than go with BMM.
If looking to mine on a less government based and more independantly than go with IMG and setting up shop at one of the IMG bases.
Each has pros and cons in terms of reputation but that is to be expected. One thing is that IMG and BMM despise each other with a passion since they're competing for the same resources. Also some IMG members are BMM workers who left feeling that they were not being treated fairly (residual resentment). There's also the interactions between BMM, IMG, KNF, and BAF which can make things very interesting.
