Looking to join a faction. - DartStriker - 04-10-2010 Okay, so I've been playing discovery for a good long while now. I've tried to start my own faction, but that didn't work. I joined a faction, but had several problems that forced me to leave and now I'm stuck as an indie again. I like the idea of factions, and the community and support you get from being in one. But I have yet to find a faction I really want to be part of. I've been searching and searching, and have come up empty handed. So maybe some insight from my peers can help, maybe. I want a faction, a corporation, but I don't just want a shipping company. Are there any factions, that are just big evil business firms. I want to play as morally corrupt bankers, lobbyist, fat cats, ect. A faction that can get on the news and tell how they gave millions of credits to charity, while they use child slaves on a pirate base somewhere to manufacture cheap trinkets to sell to Liberty. People that pay off congressmen and senators to look the other way, and vote in their favor, for their own gains. A group of the dirtiest, rotten people, in the nicest suits and finest cigars, that are driven by no values, or ideas of country and humanity, but by greed. I don't know maybe I'm to specific, anyways if there are any factions that are going for this, or if someone has some ideas are starting a faction like this let me know. -Thanks Looking to join a faction. - sean24 - 04-10-2010 This isn't exactly what your looking for. But you might like the [IND]. They are rich...really really rich. And have negotiations with many factions even the Outcasts I think! EDIT: Oh...turns out it is what your looking for:) Looking to join a faction. - Turkish - 04-10-2010 ' Wrote:This isn't exactly what your looking for. But you might like the [IND]. They're rich, they're evil, they get things done so to speak. Looking to join a faction. - n00bl3t - 04-10-2010 That would be pretty much spot on. [IND] would be exactly what you described. The difference is that said slaves are used as guinea pigs in pharmaceutical experiments. Looking to join a faction. - DartStriker - 04-10-2010 Man, IND. I would be scared to try and get in there at this point. I've seen there stuff it's all top notch. Looking to join a faction. - sean24 - 04-10-2010 Hoodlums the leader. Maybe have a chat with him? Looking to join a faction. - Lance_Uppercut - 04-10-2010 Don't be afraid to try! It's all for fun. Get out there, talk to Hoodlum, and if you don't make it now, study up on being a snooty rich guy and try again later. Good luck!! Looking to join a faction. - Walker - 04-10-2010 Join the Order mate. I make sure that you guys are happy, I make sure that things are getting done. If things are not satisfactory, I'll throw the book at people. If things are going well, I'll ask what can be done better. You'll feel welcome, or else somebody will feel dead. Plus, join the Order now - We're getting our boots on the battleground, glory is about to be held, be the first there to fight. Sure, it isn't white collar but it's just as clandestine. Plus, if you want to go for Corporate Conspiracy, I wouldn't leave it to others to do that. I would do it myself if I was not so busy but so far, all factions that remotely RP that don't go far with it for lack of activity payed attention to said detail. |
