Simple enough poll, a Bretonian bomber is in development but we're facing multiple capships and bombers on a regular basis, so what are we allowed to do in the meantime? I arranged for the SF to use RH bombers with the permission of RM, at a time when the Taidiian was the favorite pirate bomber. The RH one seemed like the appropriate lawful counter-part and given we had good relations with RM made more sense then using the Taidiian.
Myself, I'd prefer to use what we have at the moment until the Bretonia bomber becomes available. What say you?

I would say that you should put Novas on your Templars. That should do enough damage against KNF ships, seeing as they are rather light on armour, generally.
It'll take a bit more work, but you should still be able to take them out. Anyway, I'm sure the KNF won't cap-whore you, and neither should anybody else.

If Only. I'm sure KNF could agree to that. But when you have to take out that corsair Gunboat before it vapourises that trader, you need all the firepower you can get.

Templars with Novas should do the job without too much hassle. Or use your own gunboat or big ship. The corsairs would have to be brave to enter patrolled space...

As far as i see it the Templar is a mini bomber in its own right. If you balance groups of templars and have a GB back them up then the "hole" caused by the lack of a bomber gets significantly smaller. All you have to do is suffice until the bomber is completed it wont be that long surely. I disagree with your use of the RH Bomber because I dont understand why Rheinland would give you them in the first place. Aren't they close to war with Liberty? Because that wouild mean they need all fo their bombers. Also i'm sure they would regard the BAF as more than capable o getting by without Rheinland's help.

Bit difficult to judge this one, as both the [SA] and the [KNF] technically don't have access to bombers either.
And of course quite a few other major factions have to do without them currently, and all have done for quite
some time. What makes your faction different ?

If I may be so bold... Isn't the Taiidan not only an "alien"-based bomber, but also sold in Corsair space?
Wouldn't it be kind of anti-RP for the Brettonian's to go floating about in Pirate space to buy a ship pirates sell?
If it sells elsewhere, then go crazy... But Delta is the only place I know of that sells it.
