You should almost never use level one headings ( =level one heading= ). Level one headings should only be used on very long pages (and I do mean very) that have a lot of vertical space in them and perhaps some other large text that would otherwise distract a reader from the heading. There is no reason to use them in character articles or player faction articles. The maximum heading level in all but perhaps 0.5% or less of wiki pages is level two ( ==level two heading== ). Please adjust all your pages accordingly.

Done.

Why, though?
Is it an issue, I mean.

It is an issue, actually, as the heading at the top of the page (the page title) is a level one heading, other level one headings serve to confuse users and make the hierarchy of information unclear. Additionally using a combination of level one and level two heading on pages produces a lot of vertical lines. Parallel lines like these can be distracting and can lead the eye of any user off to the right side of the page, where there is nothing. The users eye should be encouraged to move downwards instead, which the natural flow of a page without so many vertical lines leads to. Other than that the relative size of level one and level two headings when they are the only ones used is rather large compared to the other text, effectively over-emphasizing the heading text and distracting the user from the body paragraphs. Oh, and finally, inconsistencies in style can also serve to confuse users and lead to an unrefined appearing site.

Did I mention I have a degree in communications? This includes document design.

Perhaps make a suitable level 4 heading and remove the unnecessary lines in level two headings?

X uses two level 1 headings, and it is not about to change. Why? It is going to be a large article and I try to follow Wikipedia guidelines on making the article.

Communications degree?

Just checked the LPI page, were good.

Thanks Hack.

Yeah, that's not a bad idea, I'll poke Chris about this.

And im not sure if the line is unnecessary. If ti was removed all the heading styles (other than level one) would have to be revised I think. I'll ponder it.

and yeah, a bachelors of science in scientific and technical communications:P

Fair enough.

Anything below three just shrinks the size down a bit more without changing other aspects of formatting. (Also, is there a guide on what level has what formatting? If there is not, that would help.)

Right.

Well, the only page I ever really touch is the Ageira one.
That needs a bit of a touch up, though.
If it's that much of an issue, I'll fix it when I get around to the touch up.
