Log of Franz Maister - Strichev - 06-03-2010 I've had an argument with one of my colegues, the Karl Schroeder, today about my plan to lead an archaeological expedition. He has certain connections in the "higher spheres", so he was assigned to work here and "help" us with his advises. He is the one person I would like to see floating around in vacuum of space. What can I do ? Such is the corrupt world we are living in. Nothing counts except money and connections. I guess, I'll just have to get along, no matter how foolish Karl might be. I've also finished my list of people I want on this expedition. Karl Schroeder (I'm thinking, on how to get rid of him) Jutta Schmidt (medical officer) Katje Seitz ( artefact navigation systems) Hans Baumwolle (artefact computer and electronics) Log of Franz Maister - Strichev - 06-04-2010 June 18 818 AS Credits, it's all about the damn Sirius credits. And the war, damn war. Every decade we are in a war against someone. Wars, the demise of humanity. They leave no room for culture and history. Ah well. I have been trying to gain more credits from the government. With no success. My only option now, is the private sector, full of greedy monsters. My negotiations seem to have some success. Negotiations June 19 818 AS Daumann is out. June 20 818 AS Finally someone with a sense for culture and history. 10 000 000 sirius credits, less, than I've expected. No large fleet and safe depot on the surface. Only one ship and some makeshift structures. Log of Franz Maister - Strichev - 08-10-2010 Planet Honshu, Kishiro district I must say, that these Kusarians know what are they doing. Especially, when it comes to tracking people. Their workers...they are like, well I won't say slaves. Apart from that they seem to be quite hospitable, however this might just be caused by our valet. Despite all that, I'm really looking forward to leaving this place, after all, Rheinland is my home, not to mention that we have better food. Damn diarrhoea. These bacteria seem to weary different than the ones, that can be found on New Berlin. |
