Yea its hard but then agian thats the challenge.
Yes forces are randomly generated however your forces are based from the items you get.
For example you could get lets say 50 units.
1 Fighter = 1 Unit
1 Destroyer = 3 Units
1 Testudon = 10 Units
Best battles I say are all fighter vs fighter.
By the way heres mine:

You killed 35 enemy pilots
Your forces overcame 259 enemy ships
You lost 193 allied ships
And your final score was: 323200

I love this game! I had it on my favorites before I found this thread... Also, I got to 14 once. But that was a series of fluke 1 v 1 force battles.
