is there any such thing as freeport 8?
has it ever existed or even mentioned in vanilla, or in disco at all?

Freeports don't seem to be numberd in exact order. Some are missing.
One could say that perhaps Freeport 8 is a hidden freeport in unexplored space, same with the other missing ones.
I'd wish the devs would use this line, instead of adding larger numbers. Instead of adding in Freeport 16, add 8 or 3 in, kinda makes sense.

I think that Freeport 3 would have been between the Sigmas and Liberty, maybe in Alaska once it was finished. (Alaska was originally going to be the link between Liberty and the Sigmas, but Microsoft pushed the game and that never happened.)
Freeport 8 could also have been the Freeport there, or it might have been in yet another location that just wasn't put in the final version.

thanks that sort of helped makes sense of that. I'd like to see freeport 3 or 8 in disco eventually though! :cool:
