As stated in the subtitle: I have no influence on what the next event will be, but I have had a few ideas of possible event and wanted to know your opinions. Note that most of them would most likely not be reflected in the storyline and would be just for fun, if they would happen at all that is.
The options I posted are mainly based on current hostilities and the availability of capital ships

I voted for the Red Hessian against Corsairs in O47, but if I had another vote, I would've voted BD against KNF as well.
I would also prefer those events to be without capships...we have enough capships battling events. Would be nice to have a 25 fighter spam. Lag would be hell but WHO CARES! AYAAYAYAYAYAYA CARAAAAMBA!

Omega-5 would in my opinion be the perfect area for fighter combat with both sides having their bases right at the battlescene. However, a fighter event could most likely be set up on the regular server at ease too. Simply lift the 4-hour rule for the system in question during the time of the event.

I would prefer the Omega 47 system because its a lot larger (or seems so) and because there are no asteroids. The asteroids IMO just seem to be annoying and get in the way of your MR shots in the most critical of times :/ .

Isn't there that free area in the middle of O-5 without asteroids? I haven't been there in a while though.

I hate asteroids so much... They don't make a fight more interesting or the outcome any different, they just make it annoying.
Uhm, aside from that, I wouldn't mind seeing a massive LN/RM event, but that's my clear and obvious interest in the LN/RM war there.
Also a big corsair/OC brawl in eta would work nicely. Just another vain attempt at breaking the ancient stalemate would be cool, especially if it doesn't come off in either faction's favour.
I'm gunna go with Will Clayton on this. The massive cap swarms are annoying in these hug events, but there's probably a way of trying to create a nicer fleet mix.
