well..ill give example

pirates attack someone near zoner base...base and zoner npcs start blasting cause of neutrality rule

a freelancer iff and independent pirate id attacks a lawfull near a lawfull base or lawfull npcs...those npc or base open fire on them

you know?make it so attacking any faction id/iff player makes you more hostile to that npc faction

i think it would be alot more realistic and help the rp abit...not to mention it would close some loopholes with independent pirates attacking people right next to planet manhattan

If someone is doing so he's violating the rules.

Go get a pirate ID without touching your rep in any way, then go sit next to manhattan and see what happens.

bad example i gave

i just think that if a pirate say is being joined up by a freelancer iff/freelancer id player via an escort thing...that if the pirate attacks a lawfull player near manhattan, and the escort of the pirate does the same when that lawfull trys to defend themselves.....that the surrounding lawfull npc stuffs should also become hostile to the guy escorting the pirate

i should know i was personally witness to this scenario infront of planet manhattan

There's a Solution, some would call it "Roleplay", others would call it "Paperwork". If you are the lawful, report the official faction about it so they can apply Faction Right 5 on the Freelancer in question.

Also get a SS of the Locals not firing at him....

Makes the Admins job real easy.

Yup so lately a crap load of Mercs, and freelancers, and even pirates are breaking laws. What is being done about this? very little. A very small few have been FR5'd,and that leaves ohh....about 100 more. It is a broken system, and if anyone offers a solution to fix it? well they get jumped all over, and the thread is locked. All you can do is live with it,or kill them every single time you see them. Oh use the same RP they use, you know the 1 liners then pew pew while your typing response. They hate thier own medicine.

I bet he's talking more about mercs and FLs than pirate ID's

I belive that he means when someone who is neutral to the said base "within RP AND rules" attack someone else who is, again, neutral to the base. Then the NPCs affilated with the base would attack the agressor.

Example: Corsair 150m from FP, BH undocks, sees the Corsair and attacks him. Then all Zoner NPCs and base would attack the BH.

Or so I understand the idea.
