Well, I recently got The Orange Box on Steam, and I get to "gift" out my additional copies of Half-Life 2 and Episode 1. Now what I was hoping to do was "sell" these games to someone within the community. Basically whoever wants it, would buy it off of me with in-game credits on the role play server.
Now each game is $500,000,000 (500 Mil) and can be bought together or separate.
Anyone who is interested please let me know. Also admins can you please verify ya'll are OK With me doing this on your forums, if not I'll take it elsewhere. Thanks.

Err dark.....you really can't do that. Steam is what you call a pain, and really doubt you will find too many people willing to take you up on that. Especial since Half-life 2 retails at 19.99cdn and Episode 1 at 9.99cdn. And Canadians always get overcharged on this stuff so it likely cheaper elsewhere.

This offer is more geared toward those who may not have the money to spare in real life for the purchase. Also, that's still $30 in RL and completely free.
As for steam, not really getting what your finding a pain about it.

Well steam registers all post Half Life 2 products. That serial is assigned to the steam active at the time of installation. That means that if you sell these, you must give your steam account to the buyer. The buyer then owns any of the games registered to that account. Unless you have HL2 and episode 1 on different accounts you can't sell them individually. You also run the risk of loosing another steam purchased/connected game you own, like SiN episodes.
It just sounds like a bit more trouble then it is worth to me.

Yeah.
Steam added the "gift" option, for extra games, so you can give those games to your friends.
And I'm not really sure why us Canadians are still overcharged.. Our money is worth more than the US's money right now.. Yet stuff here is still more expensive than in the US..

Yeah I get that it's a hefty price, but it's honestly for those who don't have a job (pretty common in a community filled mainly with younger people) and their parents won't spring $30-50 USD to purchase them a video game.

try living in the uk where all games and movie like things cost double of what you pay or more tis horrible
