Ok just want to make sure no-one thinks I'm complaining about the BS shield its a nice piece of equipment :D , but how come a single nomad BS patrol can take it down by the time you've killed the 2 gunships? :unsure: Has anyone else found this... slightly annoying? :unsure:

Even a fighter with 4 WILD FIRE can take down your shields quite fast, let alone novas...
BS shields should be a 50% stronger, or at least regenerate faster...
If the hull strenght was increased, and the armors are available now, why not add a stronger shield?

I can't believe you want stronger shields for battleships - if anything I think they should be slightly reduced, but regenerate faster (they're easy to regenerate anyway by kind of cheating, won't go into that).
What kind of battleship commander would let a fighter take out the shields?
Nomad guns, codenames and I think the chain gun varieties have no penalties against graviton shields, like some weapons do, so that might make them seem doubly effective. Just a theory, I have experienced similar.

I never said anything about making the shields stronger, I simply asked if anyone else thought that the nomads can drop a BS shield a little too quickly. Yes it would be nice to have them regenerate faster. Do you mean by "cheating" hitting F1 and selecting the new character button the restore your shields? It does work, till the nomads catch on and have 2 or 3 BS patrols turn up at the same time.

The sheilds are already strong enough. And yes, with 4 Wilds and 2 Tizonas I can take down a BS shield that fast but thats why you have missiles. Shoot the fighter down with the missiles, or at least use them to keep the fighter off. I know that out of 4 fights Sam/Angel could get me twice at least if I fought her.
