Character names have dissapeared - kindred - 10-31-2007
Today i started up Freelancer, used the account manager to load my trading account and logged into the server.
When i log in to the server it shows no character names, i have the account backed up on a usb flashdrive so i deleted the hard drive file thinking it was corrupt and loaded the backup but i get the same result.
Could my account have gone corrupt server side?
I can supply account code, account signature and character names if needed.

I don't believe any of that information is stored server side. At least not in a way that could have this effect. I have no idea what could cause that though.

Had the same problem its your account on your side. Try making anohter windows user and play.. see if it works

if you make a new FL ID pm me your old player names with your new player name and i will try to transfer your old files to that ID, but you will have to wait 10 hours im off to work now. Now dont get upset if we can not locate them, some times, some one at home uses some one elses accounts and delete them, if that happens there is nothing we can do:)

All of my characters are in the new account and working, looks like everything made it into the new mod, thanks tony.

When the new version came out I half expected Armageddon to occur on the server. The admins did an excellent job of preventing that. At least the Neutral ID sold for enough to give everyone enough money for a legal ID.
