i was in a fight with another player tonight and we were doing the usual dodging and crap when he noticed that when my shots hit him nothing happened. so he completely quit dodging and basically just let me shoot him with nothing happening to him at all no shield loss or anything. i know for a fact he wasn't using any cheat or mod. i never saw the first bit of server lag either. has that ever happened to anyone?
here's the stats that i'm aware of
i was in a Raven's Talon
he was in a Tigershark
i was using 4 Sammaels and 2 Adv. Debilitators
i just want some input on this as it's the first time i've seen this happen. could it be a faulty weapon? or ship? or maybe just some wierd lag?

happened when i shoot wrecks sometimes - i see the impact, i see the shots actually hitting the shipwrecks. but they are not causing any damage - adjusting them a bit will damage them then. - not sure if thats a hitbox problem, cause the projectiles are not passing through the wrecks at all - its more like they collide with the wrecks, but the damage is not registered.

Also, where were you guys fighting? Might be a system thing.

I've seen this happen a few times before on different servers. It can just be a one time glitch. Usually switching chars rectifys the situation.

for me, it only happens on wrecks - wrecks it happened ( vengeance, sitia ) - was no lag, i shot the wrong part of the ship - that "bug" is repeatable, too.
