List of Needed Ships - LancerZero - 11-13-2007
I hope this hasn't been done before...I couldn't find any place where someone had put together for modelers a list of ships that are still missing from the mod. So, this; I think it'd be better to keep a separate list of ships, outside of the "future suggestions" thread, which would otherwise wind up becoming quite crowded with ship requests and discussions. I only have one to start with.

I know that I could well be wrong about these, and that there are others I haven't thought of. So if you think something doesn't belong on the list, say so, and please describe why. Likewise, if you feel a ship has been omitted, please say so, and why it should come into existence.
If this has been done before, then I apologize.

Igiss will present a list with needed ships soon. First we get 4.84 final. Second Igiss will get some days vacation.
Third he will present the list. Fourth we will see if he has forgotten some. Fifth we will have many discussions about any models.
Sixth.....never mind.

Its has been done before, but bringing it back to the fore front is a decent Idea anyway.
I have some other additions to that list.
- Rhiendland Battlecruiser
- Bretonian Battlecruiser
- Civillian Gunship
- Rouge Cruiser (I have a concept for that, let me know if you want me to do it up in Illustrator
- Civillian Yaht
- Passenger Transport (Something to haul people to the liners or other worlds)
- Red Hessian Gunship
- Ressearch Ship

I was working on a Bretonian Battlecruiser a while back, I think it's time to dust off the model. Something slim, obviously. I'll have to see if I can preserve the humpback look without making a big target. As for an Outcast Gunboat, I've got an old model from my first Outcast Dreadnought lying around that could work, I'll go tweak it and put it into 3ds Max as soon as I have time.

I just think that there are some gaps that we already know exist, like the lack of an Outcast Gunboat. Nexus had some excellent suggestions, as well. There are some things that could be worked on while we wait for Igiss to give the full list, that's all I'm saying.
A yacht would be a bit like a mini-liner; and I think it'd be a very neat little ship to RP in.

I think Igiss will pin his ship list in the Developers Forum. I would do it.
So we will have a nice overview. There we can fill gaps and present already finished models like the Outcast and Corsair Dreadnoughts.
Also as i have written before, we can discuss about suggestions, ship classes and so on.
I'm looking forward.
