READ FIRST
The event would be like one of those "Infected" type things. Where one guy starts off as a Zombie, and goes around trying to kill everyone that's not a zombie. Everyone would be able to choose whatever fighter or bomber they wanted, and would choose wherever system they wanted to start in that's in Liberty, or Kepler or Galileo. The event thing would be on a separate server, and during a weekend.
It would basically be a survival type thing. You'd start off as a... i dunno, let's say Sabre. You'd undock, and if you happen to be staring into the face of the first zombie, you better run for your life. 'Cause the first Zombie will be buffed, and will be hungry for your brains. (No Dejavu, don't tell me you'll be a harvester. They'll just eat your Intel core processor.) So if you happen to be killed by a zombie, you then proceed to respawn, and use a renameme (You'll only use it once), and put [Zombie]-*name*. Simple enough? I think so!
Depending on your votes, I either will get this all running by myself, or i won't do anything at all.
And yes. I forgot several things. Such as rules and what not, but I'm just throwing the idea out there for now. If it's a majority yes, then I'll make a separate thread that will be official, containing rules and the works.
Random notes:
Bear already called first buff Zombie. (Though I tend to lean on the unlawful side. So show me the dough, and I'll make bread.)
Also, If this does happen, then the last.. meh.. 5 people or so will get whatever credits people decide to donate towards the bucket.
And please. For the love of pandas, please don't post crap here.

Imo, it doesn't have to be OORP.
Think of a failed experiment on Atka Research station while testing a newly made sort of pharmaceuticals.
Other than that, sounds like an amusing thing.

Cool. Give the zombies some godlike guns and godlike ship.
AKA = Starflier with admin guns

Sounds kinda fun, I would restrict the places where the event would opperate and make everyone neutral as default. Maybe you could get someone to do some coding to set the Zombies as hostile to everyone else. Server opperator would have to man DAM the entire time to change Rep though.

However, I voted yes and I do believe it will be good fun. I can guess which character you'll be using DRV...

Think restricting it to very few systems and possibly removing cruise engines on humans could stop most of the easy abuse to this. I vote yes, sounds fun

Give the humans unarmored Arrows, and the Zombies get real ships with real guns.
That, and make docking illeagal for humans.
