is there anyway to make the FAM freelancer quicklaunch button direct connect me?

You can use the command line arguments for that.
Instead of opening the fam, create a shortcut to it onthe desktop, and add two command line arguments.
For example:
"C:\program files\Freelancer Account Manager\FAM.exe" /a=<account code> /s=82.113.48.5:2302
That will launch the FAM silently, activate the account, launch FL (with direct connect to that server) and close FAM.
You won't even see the FAM, but FL launching with that account active. As you enter lan games, the server will be listed there.

um....I want to be able to use the fam launch button to direct connect after I choose my account, otherwise, I could just use my other shortcut to FL, which already direct connects....
If I don't see fam, it makes it essentially a direct connecting link to FL, which I already have two of....
