[Question] How to make already exsisting ships editable? - Oldum - 08-21-2010 Hey there. I've been having thoughts of 'refitting' a specific ship for a specific role, but I'd need to have the ship in an editable format for that. Luis told me a way, with Wings3D , but it don't really work, and I forgot to ask him since then. So the thing is, I'd like to turn the triangles that make the mesh up back to quads, so that they can be edited easily, and it's also a pain in the ass to texture triangles, as far as I figured. So please , those who are the "beloved" devs and modelers of Disco, give me a Hint! [Question] How to make already exsisting ships editable? - Naturalist Fouche - 08-21-2010 What the... why? Oh well, you should be able to select the two faces together, and unify them.. or you could unify the vertices. Texturing Triangles is no different, although it depends how you texture.. |
