Top 3 factions to win the most gold medals (supplied by IMG of course!) could get a shiny forum badge and as stated above, an info card or some type of small useful prize.
The final race could also be first one to Corinth!

thats stupid...for one thing with a transport its incredibly easy to get 0m away fro mthe actual star object,inside the corona...anything smaller than a transport will be instantaneously vaporized

Hmm, while races without waypoints would be... awkward, I wouldn't mind seeing battle events in Connecticut.
Face it in the end with this game engine, combat is what it'll boil down too. I'd love to see Virus against all bombers in there, I hear he is a monster with a bomber.
Discovery Olympian Battle Championship? Would be nice to see.
Sadly races on this type, I'm afraid its not the idea's fault, it's the game's fault.:(

and battle championship? thats what disco is almost everyday...gaining superiority over your enemy by conquering...whichever way ya do it its the only way to move foward
