Ship(camera?) shaking - Crusader4 - 09-07-2010

All of you tat own caps know this,
when your shields are down and you are under enemy fire,
the ship (or camera only?) shakes like ....... and u can't see or hit a thing.

So, is it plausible to remove it or at least lower it?

it may be possible, it most likely isnt.

it really sucks, but you have to adapt to it.

Anything that buffs caps won't be done.

I don't see how would they get buffed by this,
everything will remain the same.

Don't you have anything better to do?

I'm not sure about camera shaking, but I'll look into it. And yeah, everyone wants it removed, not just reduced.

Having it removed fully, as many people want it removed, is unrealistic. As soon as the shields are down the hull will begin to take fire ( you don't say ) and most of the ships systems will become less and less functional. The targeting computers will become less effective, hense why you cant shoot a thing due to the shake.
Having the ship shake ( for me ) is a sign that the shields are down ( I don't look at my shields much )

but having it dimmed down will be good, but not all together taking it off.

I dont think anyone could have put it better.

IF I had my modding tools still, I'd assist in the matter. Since I dont anymore, I only can sit and watch =(

Ehh, neither do you. So meh.

Will come along anyway, and to an extent I agree. While I hate it too, removing a nerf is like buffing it anyway. But I've always considered it as part of the same group as capital ramming; ie nothing much can really be done and even if it could be fixed it wouldn't be.

As explained in many other threads, it is a game engine issue that cannot be changed. Sorry.
