Freelancer ID question - Balanar - 09-12-2010 Quick question to those knowledgeable regarding this. I came across a pirate in Frankfurt the other day flying a big Kusari ship (Forget which type) with a Freelancer IFF. The ship was gunboat class with Zoner GB turrets, and I was a little skeptical of the legitimacy of his IFF/ID pair in terms of legitimacy. He demanded a five million tax and wasn't willing to offer a more reasonable one, so of course I was destroyed. I'm not gonna name him or make veiled threats at sanctions; that's not how I play this game nor is it how I use the forums. I just think it's a little unsporting to use a Freelancer IFF with a pirate ID to trick me in to getting close. Normally when I see an ID like that, I just pop out of the lane at 14K and turn right around. So my question is, is this legitimate? Can you fly as a pirate with a Freelancer IFF? Freelancer ID question - Alex. - 09-12-2010 God knows how many times people have said this before... Yes. Haven't you seen the guys going around with a Pirate ID + FL IFF? I don't trust Freelancer's on any of my charaters, for this exact reason. Freelancer ID question - Balanar - 09-13-2010 Thanks for the prompt replies, I'll keep this in mind. |
