Discovery mod v.4.79 bugs&suggestions - Titus - 12-27-2005
Here are bugs and/or suggestions i must report/propose:
|- Bretonia police/armed forces DO NOT use their particle weapons
|- Outcasts RARELY use particle weapons (only weak outcasts in daggers)
|- Corsairs do not use their pulse weapons but that shouldn't be a problem
|- Liberty police DOES NOT use plasma weapons
|- Liberty Navy uses only lavablade mk1 turret. It should use MUCH more often
Liberty plasma weapons.
|- Bounty hunters DO NOT use their particle weapons
|- Kusari police/naval forces DOES NOT/DO NOT use their photon weapons
|- Rheinland military must use more often its plasma weapons (i don't think they
use them at all)
|- I say that colors of the liberty/hogosha plasma weapons should be reversed (for
cool looks ;) :D )
|- Houses do not use upgraded versions of their ships.
|- I have not seen any molly-dublin duster turrets (they use corsair angelito
turrets)
|-GC do not have suncannon turrets.
|-Skyblast B's : They are deadly in NPC hands,but not as deadly in player hands
:( . They are the ONLY photon weapons which makes an extremely cool sound
as them (the photon 5 sound in Fl files)

One idea from me:
Make mines worthwile. Make them powerful, last longer and home better. Whats the point of mines if you cant set up a wall infront of a jump hole so when a persuer comes through, they get torn to pieces?

Titus I'll take this list into consideration, but I don't think that you titled the topic correctly. First of all, 4.79 is not out yet, so you cannot talk about bugs in it. Next, you list no bugs. Everything you've listed remains intact from the original Freelancer, nothing was modded.
What do you mean by 'do not use'? They have them equipped but don't fire them? strange. Or they don't have them equipped? I don't want to change original loadouts.

Korrd is correct skyblast B turrets are for sale at only one place, bounty hunters never have their particle weapos equipped, but still eat away your shield as if they are equipped.
Outcasts have never used huegenots and the mollys do, try flying thru their dublin asteroid field or the leeds smog clouds.

I've seen both Corsairs and Mollys flying Huegnots.. Just go to Leeds, hang near the tradelanes (or the Leeds -> Cambridge jumphole) and you'll see about 4 of em in an hour. :)
Playing tag with them in a Eagle is so much fun <G>

I've seen the Mollys and Rogues use Huegenots, but not a Corsair Huegenot (at least not in my encounters), where abouts?

Huegenots are used by rogues and Mollys.
What you will find is corsairs in dreadnoughts. Go to delta. You will find them there.

Nope, i've only seen bounty hunters use liberty dreadnoughts, the corsairs use osiris's.

My thoughts:
Hessians - Huegenots (makes for BS warfare in Omega 5)
Outcasts - something new (based on the design of dagger)
