Can't connect to Global Server - Tashi - 12-05-2007
Ok, about 6 days ago everything with Freelancer was working perfectly. I could log on to Discovery RP 24/7 with the latest mod (Discovery 4.84 beta 4 Release) and play without problems. Other servers (our clan) work just fine too.
Then, suddenly, I can't connect to the global server (at least it just sits there saying "connecting to global server..." in the Global Connection Status Box) to get a list of game servers. I've made sure my filter buttons are all unchecked. My Internet connection has been working perfectly with other online games and online services.
I've hard reset my DSL modem, I've not made any changes to my networking card, disabled my antivirus and firewall, turned off any/all programs that i don't need running. I can ping anything i have an IP for.
If I reinstall the game (next attempt at fixing it) will my account/logon information be lost too?
Any ideas on this problem?
