This is shall be my testimony of accident in Omega-50

I was off duty that time when my navigation officer made a mistake in plotting course. After my arrival to bridge he informed me that we succesfully jumped into our home system Omega-49 and now we are heading to Grand Canaria.

Short after our radar picked up two Osiris Coalition class battleships. I stated that they have nothing to do in Omega-50 around Grand Canaria. They anwered in similar spirit - that I have to leave the system immediately. After that I personally checked navigation data and realised our true location - Omega-50. I have shot my officer on the spot and immediately send a transmission that Pandorica is leaving now. Despite of fact that I didnt know exactly the nature of Zoner-Coalition treaty. I simply didnt want to be a reason of diplomatic dispute.

I ordered to commence retreat maneuvre and engage FTL. During turning to Omega-49 jumphole both battleships locked weapons on me and opened fire. I broke retreat maneuvre and repeat fire on randomly chosen Osiris. I inflicted some damage to that one but Pandorica has been severily crippled. Therefore I ordered to retreat at any cost.

As a result ZBS Pandorica is drydocked now. 73 members of the crew have been killed and 130 injured. That includes women and children due to nature of Zoner battleship architecture.

Captain Alice of Aquilon class vessel SlowCat is willing to second my testimony. She did so in previous Omega-50 intent article.

Conclusion:

My ship is my responsibility. My navigation officer's mistake is mine only, then. But what shocked me was agressive attack on Pandorica even Coalition rightful demand was being in process of complying. That is NOT behaviour of peace!

I won't jump to any rush conclusions. That I will let on Zoner HQ.

You threatened two Coalition ships of the line, in Coalition territory. When ordered to withdraw, you broke for the station close by, with the intention to dock.

We were well justified in opening fire, holmes.

Your returning fire, instead of attempting to withdraw, only confirms your guilt!

Ese, let me make it clear. I catch you opening fire, or threatening Coalition ships again, you will be wiped from existence.

The Captain of the SlowPoke is unable to corroborate your story as she was too far out of range to see your actions, and all she saw was our ships in engagement.

She too is in violation of the new mandate concerning Omega-50.

Si, hermano, from now on, you and your ships enter Coalition, we will treat them as hostile combatants. They have no business in that system. A system that boarders our own. Warships there can only be deployed against Coalition forces, and so, their presence is a clear act of aggression from your side.

I believe it is SlowCat, not SlowPoke, Ricardo. And since i am aware of of the new mandate now - as i said, i will reconsider my futher actions.

For my complaints - they are already voiced on the proper channel. Let me point them out again.

I really think your High Command should revaluate your possions as a captain of battleship for lack of jugment and being delusional. What exactly I could earn from docking on that station except diplomatic affairs between Coalition and Zoners on my head? Do you think Zoners act like that? I wasnt closing to the station at all but retreating when you opened fire.

Your excuses for your agressive behaviour is really shallow and I hope the others will see. You acted from position of superior firepower and you couldn't control your need for action and adventure! That is unforgiveable and unfit for high ranking officer of powerful ship which Osiris class battleship indeed is.

Kallisti, Gentlemen,

I find this incident disturbing. Captain Thummel, we the members of the Temporary Autonomous Zoners have lived in peace with our Coalition neighbors, a peace that I spent much time working on and I am not happy about any of this. I trust you will do what is right and make amends. In the interim, I will take on your injured aboard Med.Force.One to treat them.

Premier Katz and Captain Alverez, I have seen your decree over Omega 50. I ask you to re-consider your stance on capital ships in the system as our medical hospital is a visitor there to treat those personnel at Boa Vista and Porto Novo. Also in the past, it has provided aid within Omega 52 itself. I won't speak for all Zoners but I will speak on behalf of my own people for now. For what it's worth, I am sorry that this incident took place.
