Yeah... disappointing. Fighting today, got two impressive kills, and all it said was <player> has died. Makes it hard to get proof of fulfilling a bounty, too...

The death messages are created by FLHook, not Ion Cross... Glitch? Maybe. Wait and see.

Yes ... and it is causing problems. I encountered a couple guys flying in Omicron Minor and Omicron 100 when I destroyed one of them (in my Order character) ... he refused to accept the fact that I killed him and thus had every right to re-engage me since "I" was not the one that killed him. He even wrote in system chat, "you did not kill me" and "read what it said ... I died, but not by you."
Um ... can you say annoying?
