So, today I fought many battles and 2 of them were against serious laggers. One with a ping of about 300 and another had a straight lag percentage of around 10%. I mean, this can happen in online gaming and all and I do not request to ban them or something like that, BUT what annoys me is the fact, that people without lag suffer from it. Let me explain why...
For me, it always seems like the lagging person has absolutely no trouble shooting at me and hitting me. When trying to bring the problem to their attention, they react extremely unfriendly and almost never show a sign of goodwill. Instead, they say it's not their fault, that I should deal with their technical insufficiency. It is unfair since it is, from my experience, always the non-lagging person who has the technical disadvantage. I am the one getting hit by invisi guns and mines. I am the one shooting at a jumping or outright teleporting target.
Again, I do not request any kind of insta-ban for higher pings, BUT I refuse to simply bow down to people, who easily kill me because the game turns a technical flaw into an advantage. If you lag serioiusly and you KNOW it, stand down. It's not my fault you live in who-knows-where or you have whatever kbit/s internet connection.
On the other hand, with a lag percentage of ~10%, the autokick system should kick in, imo. This is just too much and indicates some sort of download next to the game.
