Trying to connect, downloaded everything, but everytime I try connect it says:
Request is taking longer than expected... yada...yada...yada...
And it wont let me enter... it goes into that annoying freeze...
I got right version etc.
anyone can help or somthing?

Maybe your Firewall is blocking the Freelancer access to the servers?

You wont see it unless you run freelancer and alt-tab out. The you'll see the window asking if you will make it unblocked by firewall.

alt+Tab and all remains fine, no blocking, no msgs nothing, it jst minimizes...

You know, if it's taking longer than expected then it means you should probably wait a bit.

every single time only to end up in one of those crashes, server might be offline?

If the server is offline then you wouldn't be able to see it on your list at all.
I'd suggest a full reinstall just to be safe.
