Currently when you go on the Main Page you see the 4 Houses, plus the 2 Hispanic houses, with lovely banners.
It's a great way of showing off the places and enticing people into reading more.
Why not also include other groups though?
Groups that essentially are soveriegn entities, much like the IMG and GMG.
If space is an issue, we could have these other groups near the edges of the page.
Thoughts?

I'd have assumed it has something to do with ownership. There's a LOT of space owned or bordered (much like the systems listed under Bret, Kusari, Rhein, and Libby) by Corsairs and Outcasts. Having a spot for in between stuff seems just confusing and foofy.

The IMG and GMG are big, but not THAT big.
Once they have their own little empire going i guess we could look into it. But really, you give the IMG a bone, the Gaians will want one, then the Farmers and the Rogues and the Budschuh

create an 'other button' for peeps like osc, interspace, IMG, Zoners, etc, who are not just in one house. that way, gaians (who are afaik only bretonian) are included in the bret stuff, but it gets easier to look for osc stuff

We could do something like that for official Factions on the Official Faction Site, it looks really messy there.

thats a good idea, much better than going though an alphabet list to look up all the factions of a house.
however, i think we should keep the alphabet list as a link, cos it is useful to look up a faction by name rather than place

Those are the same factions/houses you can restart in.
And those with a "house space", which includes more than 2 systems.
If you want to add every faction, even Meta-Katz and his SCRA want to have a banner up there.
I think this is good for a reason, even though noone need gallia :crazy:

Also, adding a banner for all large groups is IMHO, not a good idea. The main page will end up being cluttered in banners from different factions.
