Orbital Spa and Cruise
Operating Resort location all over Sirius, as well as bringing supply's for special events. Orbital Spa and Cruise is the leading Catering Company with in Sirius.
From the fancy Wedding of a dream, to a Luxury Cruise in the Omega's, Orbital Spa and Cruise will be there. Having such a dedicated team of Captains and Pilots,
Hostessess and Waiters, Hotel's and Resturants Orbital Spa and Cruise can cater for any event.
Founding
Humanity has alway's found ways to relax and enjoy themselves. But upon till A.S 475 Several Companies were competing for the Market. On many occassions open
hostility to each other had become commonplace. But a few Companies never went to those extremes. Whilst the other companies argued and insulted each other
those few that grouped together grew beyond belief. In late A.S 475 these Companies came together and Signed a Contract, founding Orbital Spa and Cruise.
Several Years Later every other company in the Market either went Bankrupt or was brought out by Orbital Spa and Cruise, making it the biggest Company Sirius has
ever seen.
The Company Today
Orbital Spa and Cruise thrives on success, customer service and satisfaction, but to get there they use several Divisions. Each tasked with a specific goal and task, whilst having these Division's with in the company allow's it to operate efficently with out mishap. At the head of each is one Director, whom reports back to the companies Headquarters, whilst being able to deal with any problems that arise relating to there Division. Below each Director are the Assistant's. Not all the Division's will have an Assistant. For the reason being some are smaller than others. Depending on the Divisions size there are likely to be at least one Assistant, maybe even two. But only those Divisions with a certain ammount of employee's will actually have an Assistant with in, helping the Director. Those employee's who normally work for each Division are either a rank of Pilot/Captain or Trainee. Pilots are those piloting ships from the size of a fighter to a Frieghter, whilst a Captain is in charge of a ship that is classified as a Transport or bigger. Though a Armoured Transport is actually a transport, those who captain one are ranked as a Pilot, due to the ship's uniqueness. Trainee's are the lowest rank, working for around two weeks before they know what is what, and how the internal structure of the company works. At the head of Orbital Spa and Cruise is the Cheif Director, to whom is fully responsible for the companies investor's.

Specialisied Cruise Division OSC|SCD
The Specialised Cruise Division operate relatively small ships From Frieghters up to the Armoured transport, taking those adventurious Civilians in to parts
of Sirius that are not accessable by Trade lanes. The Division holds it's own wing of escort craft ensuring the safety of those visiting these out of the way
places. Not being the most favourable choice for Holiday makers due to the known risks involved, but there are those that pay a high price who wish to see parts
of Sirius they would not normally see.
Supply Division OSC|SD
The heart and soul of Orbital Spa and Cruise. The Supply Division makes sure each base can operate fully, so that they can actually enterain the companies
customers. The Supply Division do not only just supply Orbital Spa and Cruise base's, but also supply Destination hotspots all across Sirius. Many of the
supplies consist of Luxury Food, Consumer Good's, Diamond's, Food Ration's, Synth Paste, Gold, H-Fuel, Holo-tainment Band's, Limited ammount of light arms,
Luxery Consumer Good's, Nano-Capacitor's, Oxygen, Pharmaceutical's, Limited ammount of Pineal Amulet's, Plutonium, Silver, Tobacco, Water and Wine. Some of
These goods will likely be brought in by other Companies, but they can't bring it all in themself's. Thus why the Supply Division makes sure each base
and destination gets the right supplies at the right times.
Defense Division OSC|DD
Defense of Orbital Spa and Cruise base's are paramount. Without Defending our Base's we will not be able to offer customer's a safe place to relaxe and engoy
there vacation. As such each base operate's a dedicated defense team, to protect OSC Asset's.
Escort Division OSC|ED
Both the Liner and Supply Division's require from time to time, full escort. The Escort Division fills that role, ensuring the safety of the passenger's or Cargo's
held with in.
Liner Division OSC|LD
Only a few liners exist, each with a dedicated captain at there helm. All the Liners are the Luxery Liner or the Democritus Luxery Yatch. Each with a specific task.
Commonly Luxery Liners are filled with the rich whilst the lesser, yet more common Yatch's are seen transporting the common vacationor.
Orbital Spa and Cruise Headquarters
The Headquarters of Orbital Spa and Cruise is made up of each Division's Director, along with the Cheif Director who run the dayto day management of Orbital
Spa and Cruise. And those that are likely to liase with other Companies, whilst setting targets to be reached by each Division.
The Scheme of all thing's
Whilst suppling each and every base and resort is a costly and none profitable way to do things, the company rewards those who supply base's no matter what.
By this at the end of each month those who show dedication will be rewarded with one day at a Spa or resort of there choosing, plus finiancal reward directly brought from
the companies overall profits brought in by the Liners.

General OORP Information.
I aim to bring something special to Liner's, by having them run one week per month.
Reward's come directly from members using the Shared Liners during the one week. How those credits will be dispersed is to be formalated still. But for intents purposes is to be able to reward players whom may end up on routes that are not so profitable as others. Other rewards may be made too.
The intent of the supply division is to provide roleplay of bringing in goods to OS&C bases, and places where there is likely a resort, or to those who in rp would like something for there base like luxury food. There will be targets for each base, resort, planet for each good that is listed in the Divisions description.
Finially and Formost, I have a personnal target of bringing OSC| to become the Official OS&C faction.
Anyone who can provide credits for making all the shared ships will be welcome. Please contact me via Skype if you wish to help in that way.

Nice, but I have question... Do you know that few people here started using OSC| tag from long long time ago? They used it even in time when Pan-Gan was official OSC faction...
They are not anykind of clan or other organised structure etc...They just wanted to show that they are flying with OSC ID... So personally for me it looks like appropriation of OSC| tag...

At last! yeah I like the idea but I like don't really get the namig convention - If you ask me and I have one indie group on my back already to many TAGS in names will make confusion
My proposal : OSC|shipname-Cpt.Name It is similar or nearly the same as NPCs have their transpordemt when you selec them and it looks nice.
For example my Liner for over 200h
OSC|Amber-Cpt.Dering
The problem comes when people confuse you with woman because of Amber - but most of the - let's say better readers get the point and it looks nice
as for the escorts and such units I made myself a ship with OSC|SV suppot vessel - can be use both ways as escort or if you want a transport delivering goods and supplies to OSC bases.
so to sum up - my tip - make less tags and division..well it doesn't sound good IMO apart of that I really LIKE the idea and I m 100% with you on the OSC faction.
EDIT : AND TO BE CLEAR I HAVE MY LINER SINCE THE BEGINING OF MY PLAY HERE - ABOUT 4 YEARS NOW. MY NAME ALWAYS WAS OSC|Amber-Cpt.Dering and if I decide not to join your faction you can forget about me changing that - and if I join I rather the name stays aswell:)just to be clear:)Teehee

one more thing - I know it is ugly but it is a good VHF and a civilian one - most of players will tell NO IT IS CRAPPY - believe I tried it and apart of the looks it is a nice choice for escorts

But as Gargamel said ... I think there are to many sections.
To be honest - and I think the fate of the last OSC faction shows it - I think we should get it easy. Not so many restrictions etc., so that people can feel warm with it. Espacially excessive naming conventions is one point I dislike in many existing factions. Please not another one.
How about
OSC-ShipName (for Liners and transports)
OSC-CaptainsName (for any smaller vessels)
or something similiar.
And that Liner-thingy at the end with "Liner has to be online for a week in a month" ... yeah - maybe it increases "activity", but to force people to play a char that they dont feel to play at that time kills fun. I wouldnt try it. A nice reminder for someone who is absent quite a long time would be better, I think.
And can you describe that Rank-stuff a bit more in detail?
As I stated in a rule-forum thread ... I think there could be some kind of "supervisory board" with maybe 5 people in it, each with one vote. In a draw the CEO (faction leader) would have the last word. But this is only a suggestion.
I give you at least 100 Mio credits for the "get official"-fee, when it comes so far.

One thing I would quite like to see is OSC's illegal side being brought to the fore a little more. If someone had me name the single most subtle bastion of criminal activity in the game, it wouldn't be the Junkers or Zoners - it'd be OSC. Curacao's morals wouldn't be worth the paper they were recorded on, the Hawaii is a stepping-off point for illegal artifact trading and the Shetland is a staging post for wealthy Gaian poachers. OSC is a living embodiment of the ethos, "the law is only for poor people".
I'd love to see some of that reflected in the group's governing player faction. That'd be brilliant.

I will be getting round to those whom want to help in a few minutes.
To sum up.
1. Tag.

1. I can only be sympathetic about it. However, I had thought about that Originially. If I kept the Naming Convention as it is I will allow other players to tag as OSC|shipname or OSC|Firstname.Lastname having a register for players to be able to put those in, along with the allowance to use the Message dump (that being in the Communications Forum till being Official).
2. I will be looking to make certain ways of doing such things. Whether it be Hiring Freelance transports to take artifacts to Hawaii, Artifact auction rp events, events around Gaia with [NLH] being involved too. For now it is setting the basic's up, I will then be driving to that point at a later date. Too further that I also wish to appoint repersentatives for each OS&C base and planet's. So that they can have forum roleplay, being in charge of any problems that arise for each location.
3. I have seen many attempt's and seen how PanGall declined. The design for me of having the divisions is not to cuase problems. It is to give a clear task for each one to aim towards. It is up to the player which Division or Divisions they would like to belong to. Also before it comes up the Defense Division and the Escort Division will be slightly different. The first will be made fully of shared ships stationed at each base so that anyone in the group can use them. The later is for those who wish to have a dedicated fighter wishing to go beyond each system where a OS&C base is located.
4. I do not wish to force players in to a situation they do not want be in by not having a Liner that they may use all the time. If they wish to use one, they may use a liner asa Indie, whilst being a member of the group.
5. I have run VPS in that such a way. And I intend to do the same with OS&C as it worked extremely well. The board will be made up of the Directors of each Division, primarily.
I hope I have answered some of your doubt's and thought's as best as I could. If not please don't hesitate to give further feedback. For which I will be very happy to read and talk in more detail with you.

Yeah on other hand that could be a problem BUT the problem with Tags is still pressent and I rather it will be
OSC|Cpt.name or OSC|Shipname
than OSC|division-name
I think that tags with divisions will not help other players to recognize who we are and if it comes to in faction coordination of ships - you can make divisions so that people that are in such will know what they should be doing. TAG is not for it - for most of players it will have NO sense and everyone will ask and what about the other part of tag - it will make more bad than good.
The idea of deviding ships in divisions is good - but for me as it stays right now - there is too much of those.
Escort division or Security division would be enough for both defending bases and escort units.
Supply division - I was thinking about it and on the other hand - does OSC supplies its bases itself? maybe the factions that are already in sirius and are suppling most of facilities with needed materials do that ? in that case this one isn't needed and IMO this is good way to avoid making another part of OSC where we will be handling not luxuries things just look like a trader company and OSC IS NOT A TRADER FACTION! WE DO NOT TRADE anything cause we do not have anything we could sell apart of those materials that are brought to us. So maybe the supplies it would be nice to have that one covered by some trader agreements with already existing faction.
and here is the problem I have about the name of the division with Liners,yachts,Pelicans and Kusari Luxury yacht or whatever the name was... the problem is how to name it and I don't think that diffrent names for every KIND of ships is a good idea - they are all going to do the same - take people from point A to point B or take them on tours and vacation so what is the point of breaking them into diffrent parts. For those who will be starting their work in OSC will be given ships will smaller capacity and while they will earn higher rank - bigger ships will be allowed. But the name is a problem for me for now - maybe Luxuries Division
or ...travel Division - ... I have no idea for now... but two or 3 max divisions will be exacly what we need and if we need anything more - special rp units - we will name them in special way anyway so no division needed for that.
About the illegal things - well I didn't really got involved in that thing and I have no idea how to place that in our RP or in faction actions - it is more the case of unlawfuls who use our facilities and it is their problem to contact us about something unlawful they want to do with us. I will not talk about it cause I don't really wanna be a part of it anyway - so if anyone will have a RP idea on it in game I may play along BUT I will stay with lawful side of my character.
Liners should be exclusive BUT if we make them TOO exclusive people will just ignore the faction and have it anyway so we should consider making it more as a part of getting a possible rank in group which will be changing according to activity , rp skills and the board decision.
I am 100% about the board Idea - 4-5 members in it or even 3 will be enough to have control on things going on - more of those on top to look after on those under the top - it will help to keep the new commers controled and make sure they do not make anything wrong or will just help to coordinate the work of our OSC staff.
The problem is why players like me - playing so long with the OSC that for me - place in possible new comming official OSC faction on lower rank then LINER captain would be just rediculous. Something like - test period for such pilots should be made and if they prove that being an indie has not made them a lolwut liner powertraders:)
It would be nice that every member of the board would have one of the bases of OSC under his control so the board would have their people anywhere and they could arrange meeting in one spot - that would make a possibility of nice RP event for us aswell.
